The magic "pen" that is miraculous for stretch marks and their regeneration, with the original microneedling device, which rewrites the history of your skin.
A minimally invasive treatment, which has maximum results in the production of collagen, the improvement of stretch marks and the tightening of the body, in the treatment areas.
This lunchtime treatment is used to increase collagen to 100% and to tighten the stretch marks area that lasts for years.
The most important thing is that at the Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinic, you will find the original Fractional Laser, which guarantees the effectiveness of this treatment. But let's see together how Body Fractional Laser works against stretch marks.
After scanning the treated area, the laser energy is divided into smaller vertical bundles and penetrates deep into the skin, at the exact depth where the stretch marks have been created. This penetration causes fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin, restoring fullness and firmness to the tissues while leaving the surrounding tissue intact, which helps the treatment areas heal faster.
These two proteins (collagen and elastin) give to the skin the strength and elasticity it needs to fight stretch marks, gradually reducing their depth after a few sessions. As collagen and elastin are produced, stretch marks become thinner, smoother and less visible, so fresh and healthy skin emerges. The production of collagen also offers an extra benefit to the area, as it simultaneously treats the sagginess of the skin in the affected area!
The Total Plasma Body Lift protocol is the combination of two treatments: Autologous Mesotherapy and Fractional Laser. This protocol begins with the application of the Fractional Laser, which acts on the deepest layers of the skin. In this way, the fibroblasts are stimulated, contributing to the faster production of collagen and elastin.
Immediately after, the Autologous Body Mesotherapy follows with micro-injections in the areas of the stretch marks, which contributes to the hydration of the skin and its faster healing. Each of these treatments is very effective on its own in treating stretch marks, so you can imagine that combining the two can do miracles. Among the advantages of this combination is the fact that it reduces the total number of sessions required, compared to if each treatment was done alone.
The Body Dermapen is the genuine microneedling device which is well-known worldwide, as the magic pen that rewrites the history of our skin. It works by creating controlled micro-openings in the upper layers of the skin with the titanium micro-needles of its headpiece, so as to stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin.
These two proteins give the skin the strength and elasticity it needs to fight stretch marks, gradually reducing their depth after a few sessions and improving their texture. Dermapen 4 is the fourth generation of this revolutionary technology and is the fastest, automatic, digital micro-needling device, effectively treating both recent (red) stretch marks and old (white) stretch marks, by rejuvenating our whole body.
For maximum results, we recommend the combination of Dermapen together with Enhanced Stretch Marks Firming Mesotherapy, for even better and longer lasting results. The Body Dermapen is at the same time an excellent treatment for loose skin at the arms, at the abdomen area (especially around the belly button), at the area above the knees, at inner thighs, but also at buttocks, where stretch marks coexist with skin laxity. By injecting with microinjections the firming ingredients of body mesotherapy (such as organic silicium, DMAE, coenzyme Q10, etc.) we offer to the skin enhanced nutrition, deep hydration, firming and toning, which effectively contribute to the treatment of stretch marks.
Maximum results in the treatment of stretch marks are also offered by the combination of Body Dermapen with Autologous Mesotherapy, which contains growth factors from our blood. The growth factors are isolated from the blood plasma and used in the treatment, as they are the ones that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, at the areas of their injections, thus managing to restore the skin's firmness and gradually reduce the depth, but also the texture of stretch marks.
RF Radiofrequency therapy is a non-invasive aesthetic procedure that uses multipolar radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, causing collagen fibers to contract and tighten, which induces the production of collagen and elastin. So while you enjoy the feeling of the warm massage, your body and your stretch marks are actually gradually reshaping.
RF therapy is often used as an alternative to more invasive firming procedures such as a Body Lift and it is popular because it has no recovery time. The treatment is completely safe and has no side effects, making it an excellent choice for those who want to achieve completely painless treatment of their stretch marks, with results that improve even after their sessions are over.
The "Plasma Pen - Plexer" Treatment gives you a spectacular tightening of the skin from the very first session, in a non-invasive way and we would say that a few sessions are enough to make stretch marks disappear. It works by ionizing the air particles, between the headpiece of the device and the skin, forming the plasma energy (fourth form of matter), which in turn causes immediate sublimation of the skin.
The results are instant, with immediate contraction of the tissue, which activates the processes of skin injury, ''awakening'' the fibroblasts to produce fresh collagen and elastin, thus contributing to the gradual shrinkage and disappearance of stretch marks, but also to their filling from the inside.
Autologous Body Mesotherapy is an innovative method of skin regeneration, which is also used for stretch marks and is based on the utilization of our blood cells. During the treatment, a small amount of our own blood is collected, about 5 – 15 ml which is similar to how much is needed for a general blood test. This small amount of blood is then centrifuged, to separate the blood from the plasma and then a plasma activation process is followed, in which a series of growth factors are released. Growth factors are known for their healing and regenerative properties.
The growth factors are isolated and used in the treatment as they are the ones that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, at the points of their injections, thus managing to restore the firmness of the skin and gradually reduce the depth, but also the texture of the stretch marks.
However, in addition to autologous body mesotherapy, heterologous body mesotherapy is used equally effectively in the treatment of stretch marks. Heterologous mesotherapy involves the introduction of valuable active ingredients into the middle layers of the skin, which is why it has been called "mesotherapy".
The treatment is made with microinjections and includes specially designed cocktails of firming and regenerating substances (such as organic silicium, DMAE, coenzyme Q10, etc.), offering the skin enhanced nutrition, deep hydration, firming and toning, which effectively and specifically contributes to the treatment of stretch marks.
PDO threads treat stretch marks with the collagenogenesis they offer, from the very first day of their placement, but also gradually during their biodegradation, in the following months. Threads are essentially a "foreign body" that enters the skin and this is enough for the body to send there factors that stimulate the skin's healing processes, with the production of fresh collagen and elastin.
This is particularly important as collagen and elastin are the main building proteins of the skin, helping it to be strong, elastic and firm, thus filling the depth of stretch marks from within and reducing their size. Body threads is an excellent treatment, both improving stretch marks as an initial treatment, but mainly as a maintenance treatment after other therapies to keep the skin firm and prevent stretch marks from forming again in the same area.
Stretch marks are a type of atrophic scars and look like strips or striations, which appear on the surface of the skin when the skin has changed abruptly in a short period of time. When the tissues in the middle layer of the skin are overstretched, their elasticity is lost and the skin's elastin and collagen "break", causing injuries and strips in the skin there
At this area, a local inflammation of the tissue is caused, which is responsible for the red color of the newly formed stretch marks. At this stage their treatment is more effective and can be definitive. Over the years, stretch marks fade and acquire a whitish color, having settled permanently on the skin and will not go away, unless medical treatments are done. They most often appear on areas of the body where the skin is under tension, such as the abdomen, chest, hips, thighs, buttocks and back.
Stretch marks can appear when the skin is stretched beyond its capacity.
Pregnancy is one of the main periods in a woman's life, where stretch marks appear. According to statistics, about 1 out of 3 women will experience stretch marks during pregnancy.
It is interesting to note that the number of stretch marks increases significantly, during the last trimester of the pregnancy, when the distension of the abdomen is also greater, due to a sharp increase in the weight of the fetus.
The factor responsible for the appearance of stretch marks is not so much the increase in weight per se, but the speed with which the weight increases and if it increases too fast, the skin does not have time to be sufficiently elastic and therefore stretch marks appear, mainly in the abdominal area.
In addition, stretch marks can also appear on breasts, due to increase in the size of the breasts during pregnancy, but also during breastfeeding.
How to prevent your skin from breaking
While it is not always possible to completely prevent stretch marks during pregnancy due to factors such as heredity and skin type, there are steps you can take to minimize their appearance.
Healthy Diet
A balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin D, zinc and protein, can promote skin health and elasticity.
Daily Hydration
Drinking plenty of water, around 2 litres a day keeps your skin hydrated and contributes to its overall elasticity.
Avoid rapid weight changes
Rapid weight fluctuations, whether you gain or lose weight, can contribute to the development of stretch marks. Instead, aim for gradual changes.
Exercise
Regular exercise can help improve blood circulation and maintain toned muscles, as well as skin. Talk to your Gynecologist before starting or continuing any exercise routine during your pregnancy.
Use stretch mark creams
Although there is no clear evidence that these creams can prevent stretch marks, using specifically designed products for stretch marks keep your skin hydrated and support its elasticity, thereby reducing the probability of occurrence.
Avoid sun exposure
Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure as UV rays destroy the collagen and elastin fibers in the skin, making it vulnerable to stretch marks.

Truth: Stretch marks are not exclusively appear on women's skin, as they appear on men's skin also, when there is heredity, sudden weight fluctuations, hormonal disorders or persistent exercise with lifting weights such as in Bodybuilders. Clearly the rate of occurrence of stretch marks in men is lower, as there is no pregnancy factor in them, but it is estimated that a percentage of men around 20%, have at least a few stretch marks somewhere on their body.
Truth: In principle, stretch marks do not appear in all women during pregnancy, but only in 1/3 of pregnant women and secondly, this is not the only period of their appearance in women. Stretch marks can also appear during adolescence, due to intense physical growth, but also later in a woman's adult life, due to large fluctuations in her body weight or due to heredity. It is estimated that around 50% of women have at least a few stretch marks somewhere on their body.
Truth: There are many creams, ointments and lotions on the market, with ingredients like cocoa butter, centella asiatica, almond oil, olive oil and vitamin E oil that promise to prevent or treat stretch marks. However, there are no scientific studies that confirm their effectiveness, in terms of their therapeutic effect, once the stretch marks have been created. We would say that the creams act more proactively by moisturizing the skin and enhancing its elasticity, helping to a certain extent to prevent stretch marks from appearing.
Truth: Losing weight can sometimes make stretch marks less visible as the skin shrinks, but they never disappear completely. When the skin is stretched and its structure is broken, it remains damaged permanently, unless medical treatments are done to improve it.
In the area where the treatments were done, old stretch marks do not usually reappear, especially if some maintenance treatments are performed from time to time, to keep the skin in a good state. That’s why we always recommend after the end of your treatment sessions, to continue with Body Threads that should be placed in the relevant areas, to keep the skin firm, in order to prevent the creation of new stretch marks in the same area.
Also beyond the maintenance treatments, maintaining a good result depends on your own individual efforts like having a balanced diet, trying not to have weight fluctuations, keeping your body well hydrated and using daily special creams to prevent formation of stretch marks.
