Avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Mesulid, Brufen, Voltaren) and analgesics (e.g. aspirin) for at least a week before your treatment, as they increase the possibility of bleeding and therefore bruising during the treatment.

This is a treatment that is among the relatively painless treatments. You only feel a small stinging sensation, when the needle goes in and a burning sensation when the medicine is injected into the treatment points. Nevertheless, in order to avoid any discomfort, you can use anaesthetic cream on a clean nack, on the injection points 20 - 30 minutes before your treatment. Also, during the treatment, it is suggested to use ice cold packs, on the application sites for relief of any discomfort.

Based on deoxycholic acid, injectable lipolysis works in a similar way, effectively treating accumulated fat, dissolving fat cells and gradually eliminating fat from the double chin.
In the following 3 - 5 days after the treatment and always depending on the individual, there will be swelling in the area where the lipolysis was performed. That is something completely normal, as fat cells will have an inflammatory reaction, during their lipolysis. To reduce this swelling you can put ice on the areas for about 10 minutes at a time, several times a day, for the first week. On these days you can put on makeup normally, wash your face, exercise gently and return to your daily life, as long as the swelling is not a significant obstacle for you. The number of sessions depends on the needs of each person, the accumulated fat they have, the treatment protocol they will follow and the desired degree of correction. An indicative average is 3 - 4 sessions, spaced 1 month apart.

Bruising: Injectable procedures always carry a risk of bruising and lipolysis is no exception.
Numbness: Some people may experience temporary numbness or “tingling” in the areas where the lipolytic injections were made, which can last from several days to a few weeks.
