What is hyaluronidase?
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid and has been used safely in medicine for decades, as it can be used to reverse the bad effects that can occur after injecting hyaluronic acid. There are many times when hyaluronic acid treatments may not have the desired results or even lead to complications if "you are in the wrong hands".

You can immediately return to your activities and massage the areas where the hyaluronidase was applied, at least 4 times a day for the first 1-2 days, so that it can penetrate the hyaluronic acid in the area and break it down.
Swelling at the injection sites is always present after the application of hyaluronidase (and especially in the area of the lips it is much more intense) and you can treat it by applying an ice cold pack or a cold compress to the sites several times a day, for 5 - 10 minutes each time, for the first 1-2 days.
Avoid intense facial expressions and lip biting for 48 hours.
It is advisable to avoid intense aerobic or resistance exercises for the next 1-2 days after application, so that any swelling in the area does not intensify.
Try to avoid hot showers and excessive sun exposure for the next 2 days.

Myth: If I do a Filler and something goes wrong, it will go away on its own!
Truth: Hyaluronic acid treatments are not permanent and the results of hyaluronic acid are temporary and last from 6 - 12 months (depending on the type of hyaluronic acid used). Gradually over these months the hyaluronic acid will begin to break down and eventually most of it will be completely gone. But that doesn't mean that the bad effects and the problems will also go away. Especially the bumps on the lips may not go away at all, no matter how much time passes. So in case you don't like the result of the hyaluronic you have done, don't expect it to go away by itself. You should seek the help of well trained Doctors who will restore the area to its original appearance with the help of hyaluronidase.
Myth: Applying Hyaluronidase will also break down my own hyaluronic acid
Truth: This is partially true. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that primarily binds to synthetic hyaluronic and breaks it down directly. It can also affect the natural hyaluronic to a much lesser extent, but there is no problem with this, as our body produces hyaluronic every day, which then breaks down after a few hours.
