Cellulite is an aesthetic disorder, affecting 90% of women. It is characterized by an uneven skin surface with small "dimples" in various parts of the body and more often on the legs and buttocks. It is caused by changes in the structure of the fat cells, specifically by increase in the size of fat cells, which pushes out the connective tissue under the skin
This feature combined with the reduced blood supply to the areas affected by cellulite, results in causing retention of fluids and toxins in the tissues which results in the orange peel appearance. Even on the most fit and thin bodies, we will see cellulite, which shows that it appears regardless of body weight, eating habits and intense exercise. According to several studies, its occurrence rate in women exceeds 90% and in fact, 9 out of 10 women have or will develop cellulite at some point in their lives.
The skin sagging of the body is a normal process that occurs over time, due to the normal ageing of the body. The age at which the body begins to sag can vary from person to person and is due to many factors, among which the main ones are:
Hormonal Factors: Hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone, contained in birth control pills, can affect the amount and distribution of subcutaneous fat, contributing to fat accumulation and fluid retention, which can contribute to the appearance of cellulite. Insulin, noradrenaline, thyroid hormones and prolactin are also linked to the appearance of cellulite. Also, near menopause, the decrease in estrogens results in reduced blood flow, less collagen production and swelling of fat cells.
Hormonal Therapies and Infertility Treatments: The abnormalities that women often face during their periods can lead to the appearance of cellulite due to fluid retention in the body. Additionally, the hormones used in infertility treatments and in vitro fertilization increase ovarian stimulation and lead to the deposition of excess fat and cellulite.
Genetics: Certain genetic factors make some people more prone to developing cellulite. For example, if your mother has cellulite the chances are greater that you will also have. However, it is not clear to what extent heredity affects us, nor to what extent the environment and our lifestyle affects our genes. Certain genetic factors, which concern certain functions of the body, may also play a decisive role in the appearance of cellulite. Some of them are related to blood circulation, subcutaneous fat distribution and metabolic rate.
Lifestyle Factors: Poor diet, lack of exercise, smoking and stress can all contribute to the development of cellulite. If for example, your diet lacks water, while saturated fats carbohydrates, carbonated soft drinks, sugar, alcohol or salt predominate in your diet, then your skin is dehydrated. This leads to fluid retention and the appearance of skin problems, including cellulite.
Age: Over time, skin becomes thinner and loses elasticity, which can make cellulite more visible. The average age of appearance of cellulite is estimated to be around 25 years, however, its appearance is possible even a little earlier. Even teenage girls can have cellulite.
Gender: Cellulite is more common in women than men, due to differences in the way fat is distributed throughout the body.
Disorders of the Lymphatic and Circulatory System: In case you have varicose veins, spider veins or swollen legs, it is most likely that you also have cellulite, due to dysfunction of the circulatory system.
Sedentary Lifestyle: Cellulite is more common in people who do not exercise, follow a sedentary lifestyle and stay in the same sitting or standing position for many hours every day.
Stage Grade 0 - There is no cellulite at all, even when the skin is pressed.
Stage Grade 1 - Edematous Cellulitis
At this stage, cellulite is not visible, neither standing, nor lying down. But when you press the skin, you see the characteristic "dimples", without the skin hurting from the pressure. At this stage there is venous stasis and often other things are observed at the same time, such as swelling, heaviness in the legs and cramps.
Stage Grade 2 - Fibrotic Cellulitis
Cellulite at this stage only becomes visible when standing up, but not when you are lying down, as at this stage the problem is located in the formation of fibrosis. The creation of this fibrosis is due to poor blood and lymph circulation and the swelling of fat cells. When you press the skin, you see the characteristic "dimples" and the skin hurts under this pressure.
Stage Grade 3 - Sclerotic Cellulitis
At this stage the signs of cellulite are more intense and visible both in standing and lying positions, whether you press your skin or not. In addition, the skin shows intense "dimples" with strong orange peel appearance, due to swollen fat cells and fibrosis, while in these areas there is also intense pain to the touch.
Surely at some point in our lives, we have reasonably wondered why men don't have cellulite. And of course we can't say that it's a silly question since men never, or rather almost never have cellulite on their bodies. Cellulite is estimated to affect only 10% of men.
This is mainly due to the thickness of their skin and the way fat is deposited on male bodies. Men's skin is thicker, so the appearance of cellulite is not easily visible, even in obese people. Also, men tend to have a lower number of fat cells, with more visceral fat (fat around the internal organs) and less subcutaneous fat (fat under the skin) than women.
Thus, fat in men is stored mainly in the abdomen, in contrast with women who have a greater number of fat cells and it’s mainly concentrated in their subcutaneous tissue and in thighs, buttocks and arms.
Another main reason that is added to the factors that prevent the appearance of cellulite in men are hormonal differences. Women have higher levels of estrogen, which can lead to decreased blood vessel tone and circulation, making it easier for fat cells to accumulate and swell. Men have higher levels of testosterone, which helps maintain muscle mass and boost metabolism, leading to fat breakdown.
So in men, the main and most common causes of cellulite are hormonal changes, smoking, circulation problems, excessive alcohol consumption and being overweight.
In Derm & Plastic Clinics we know very well how important it is for you to eliminate Cellulite from your body. The search and creation of innovative body treatments is one of the main development pillars of Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinics. An innovative protocol of body treatments for the holistic treatment of cellulite, the «Cellustop» was created in 2020 by Dr Zografou, the Head Doctor of our Clinics, with the aim of successfully and minimally invasively improving this problem.
It is a protocol with combination treatments of high standards, excellent results and absolute safety, which was awarded as the best cellulite protocol, winning the Gold Medical Award. As its name suggests, this specific protocol contributes effectively to the treatment of the orange peel appearance, which mainly appears on thighs and buttocks.
Taking into consideration medical studies, which confirm the multifactorial nature of cellulite, Cellustop innovates because it is not a monotherapy, but treats cellulite from different aspects and with a combination of all modern medical techniques, giving to the patient the satisfaction that an effective protocol offers.
The Cellustop medical protocol begins with the clinical evaluation of the type and degree of cellulite, after an appointment with our Doctors and thus creates a personalized medical approach that can combine a combination of treatments for both lipolysis and for cellulite. Patients are fully informed about the treatments that can be applied in their cases and about their costs and choose together with the Doctors, what best satisfies them in terms of duration of treatments and costs.
There are 9 individual treatments that form Cellustop and since they have been added in 2020 to the top cellulite treatments of Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinic until today, they remain your first choice in the fight against cellulite, thanks to their proven efficacy.
The Cellustop treatment protocol is a bloodless and safe way to say goodbye to Cellulitis. However, you may reasonably be wondering what makes it so effective and why you should choose it over so many other treatments? The answer lies in the fact that it is a combined protocol of all the modern and sophisticated techniques. Specifically, this protocol includes:
The medical device Lipo 3MAX Plus is the most effective device worldwide that fights localized fat and cellulite and includes the triptych: Cavitation, Multipolar RF and Deep -Tissue Massage. These three treatments are executed in the same session with the headpieces of Lipo -3MAX Plus.
The Lipo - 3MAX Plus is a non-invasive treatment that combines ultrasound technology (Cavitation) and radiofrequency energy (Multipolar RF), together with Deep -Tissue Massage to melt cellulite. It is a safe, 100% natural treatment, without any recovery time, after which you can go back to your activities. This treatment warms up the layers of the fat tissue, which helps the thermal melting of the fat cells, while it causes contraction to the collagen fibers, which leads to increased collagen production and consequently tightening and toning of the sagging skin.
This automatically decreases the appearance of cellulite and improves the skin's texture. Every person that tries this treatment sees the outcomes, even after 3-4 sessions only, although usually we recommend a number of extra sessions for better results, around 6 - 12 sessions, with the frequency of 1-2 sessions per week, depending on the extension of the problem.
The treatment is extremely simple and focuses on decongesting the lymphatic system and breaking down swollen fat cells, which are two of the main causes of cellulite. From the headpiece that comes into contact with the skin, energy is transferred to the subcutaneous fat, causing intense mobilization and thermal dissolution of the fat tissue. At the same time, simultaneous mobilization of the lymphatic system, cellular stimulation and tissue drainage of toxins and fluid retention is achieved. Simultaneously the multipolar radiofrequencies of the device also target the fibroblasts, stimulating them to produce fresh collagen and elastin, thus increasing the elasticity and firmness of the skin and its tightening.
The most common application of Lipo 3MAX Plus treatment is on the thighs and buttocks, but this protocol can also be applied to the abdomen, arms, flanks and above the knees with excellent results. Each session can last from 30 to 60 minutes and Lipo 3MAX Plus can be combined in the same session with injectable cellulite mesotherapy or lipodialysis for even better results.
Cellulite mesotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves the targeted injection of a combination of substances directly into the skin to address the underlying factors contributing to cellulite formation. These substances typically include fat-dissolving agents, firming agents, diuretics, anti-inflammatory substances, vitamins and amino acids. The goal of mesotherapy is to deliver these specific substances to the skin, which cannot be effectively achieved through topical creams alone.
In Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinics, we offer both injectable mesotherapy and non-injectable mesotherapy using the authentic Dermapen® device. Let's explore the benefits of each approach.
In the Injectable Mesotherapy involves the use of a fine needle to inject the customized cocktail of substances into the deeper layers of the skin. The specific ingredients in the mesotherapy cocktail are tailored to each individual patient based on their cellulite type and severity. These ingredients work together to stimulate collagen and elastin production, dissolve fat cells, eliminate fluid retention and toxins, thus resulting in smoother skin and a reduction in cellulite.
Injectable mesotherapy is highly effective and its results are often noticeable from the first session. With our specialized custom-made mesococktails, the results can last up to 2 years, particularly when complemented by a healthy diet and regular exercise.
In the Non- Injectable Mesotherapyutilizing the original Dermapen®device involves the creation of controlled and painless micro-openings in the skin. Through these micro-openings, the active ingredients of mesotherapy reach the desired depth, targeting cellulite. The micro-needling process with the Dermapen® stimulates collagen production, rejuvenates the skin and promotes tightening, which can lead to a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
While the solution in injectable mesotherapy reaches deeper layers than the Dermapen® , excels in its ability to rejuvenate and firm the skin due to its additional microneedling benefits.
Lipolysis is an injectable treatment specifically designed to address localized areas of excess fat, even in individuals with normal weight or athletic physique. These stubborn pockets of fat can alter body shape, limit clothing choices and impact self-confidence. Injectable lipolysis emerged as a prominent cellulite treatment approximately a decade ago, after the discovery that deoxycholic acid, a natural substance secreted by the liver to break down dietary fats, could be isolated and used as an injectable treatment.
During the procedure, deoxycholic acid is injected directly into the adipose tissue at the targeted problematic areas where fat is located. This substance has the ability to dissolve the fat cell membranes, liquefying the fat and facilitating its elimination through the lymphatic system. One of the significant advantages of injectable lipolysis is that the dissolved fat cells do not regenerate. Over the following weeks after treatment, you will gradually notice a reduction in centimeters in the treated areas.
The visible results typically become apparent after the first session within 3 to 4 weeks, although multiple sessions are often required to achieve a significant reduction in the treated area. For areas such as the abdomen, thighs and saddlebags, around 4 to 8 sessions may be necessary, depending on the volume of fat. These sessions are usually spaced at intervals of 15 to 20 days.
In Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinics, we offer all the medically approved injectable lipolytic products, like Aqualyx, Desobody and also the new enzymatic lipolysis with PB Serums. Our clinics specialize in customized lipolysis protocols tailored to each individual's body type and specific lipolysis needs and this personalized approach ensures safe and reliable results.
Our clinics specialize in customized lipolysis protocols tailored to each individual's body type and specific lipolysis needs and this personalized approach ensures safe and reliable results.
The advanced shockwave ultrasound device is a cutting-edge treatment method for cellulite that utilizes a specialized headpiece to generate high-energy acoustic waves with controlled power. These waves are precisely directed towards the targeted areas of the body, delivering high-frequency oscillations for the treatment of cellulite. This innovative approach gives impressive and immediate results by effectively breaking up cellulite and dissolving localized fat deposits.
The shock waves, also known as acoustic waves, work by disrupting the cell membranes of the fat cells, causing the release of stored fat contents. Simultaneously, they enhance blood and lymphatic circulation, leading to improved oxygenation in the tissues. This process helps reduce swelling, enhance tissue health and alleviate fluid retention. The treatment itself is safe and 100% natural, without any associated recovery time, allowing individuals to resume their regular activities immediately.
Most people who undergo this treatment experience noticeable results even after just 3-4 sessions. However, to achieve the best possible outcomes, a recommended course of treatment typically involves 6 to 12 sessions, with a frequency of 1 to 2 sessions per week. The specific number of sessions may vary depending on the severity of the cellulite condition.
The Celluerase technique is a minimally invasive treatment option for advanced cellulite that targets the deeper and larger indentations on the skin, which are more pronounced than the typical "dimples'' associated with the appearance of Cellulite. This technique involves the use of a microsurgical special knife to rupture the fibrous bands that tether the skin and create these unsightly indentations.
The Celluerase results in an immediate and permanent improvement, as the Doctor uses a special instrument, carefully cutting the fibrous bands at the local junction of the connective tissue. The skin becomes smooth as it is freed from the pulling effect caused by the underlying tissues. Despite being a slightly invasive method, Celluerase is generally considered painless and well-tolerated, thanks to the use of local anesthesia prior to the procedure.
The results are immediate. When the fibrosis responsible for the pulling is effectively cut, this allows the skin to be released and eliminating the unevenness. Typically, only one session of Celluerase is required to achieve an immediate and permanent result. For enhanced outcomes, this technique can be combined with the direct injection of hyaluronic acid in the areas where the indentations were present. This additional step provides an "immediate" filling effect and helps prevent the reformation of the indentations.
Body threading has emerged as an effective addition to cellulite treatments, involving the insertion of biodegradable threads underneath the skin. When performed by a qualified Doctor and placed correctly, this technique can address sagging skin and cellulite, resulting in a lifted, smoother and firmer appearance. The threads underneath the skin act as a form of "stretching" to achieve the desired outcome, that we demonstrate to our Doctor in our attempt to describe how we want our skin to ideally look like, after a treatment against Cellulitis.
To ensure a comfortable experience, localized anesthesia is applied to the treated area before the threads are inserted, making the procedure absolutely tolerable in terms of pain. Visible results can be observed from the first session and what truly impresses patients is the gradual and ongoing improvement over the following months. As the threads hydrolyze, they stimulate collagen production in the body, further enhancing the treatment's effects.
Body threads can be applied to various areas affected by cellulite, including the knees, thighs, buttocks, arms and abdomen. Typically, PDO threads (Polydioxanone) are used for cellulite treatment. These threads biodegrade within 6 to 8 months, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin as they break down. The results of this cellulite treatment with threads can last between 18 to 24 months, offering an extended period of improvement.
It is true that hyaluronic acid, which is commonly associated with facial treatments, can now be used in body treatments, including anti-cellulite treatments. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the human body and one of its main functions is to provide hydration to the areas where it is present.
When hyaluronic acid is applied to the skin, it has the ability to hydrate the treated area, resulting in an immediate smoothing effect. This hydration can help fill in the "dimples" associated with cellulite, improving the appearance of the skin and reducing the visible signs of cellulite. The treatment can make the skin look more hydrated and youthful.
The application of hyaluronic acid body treatment typically takes place in a single session, and the results can last between 12 to 18 months. It's important to note that individual results may vary and multiple sessions or maintenance treatments may be necessary to maintain the desired outcome.
At Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinics, the treatment with the original Body Fractional Laser is a method of skin regeneration that involves the use of laser energy to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin. This process works on two different levels to achieve its effects. Firstly, the laser energy causes a controlled peeling of the outermost layer of the skin, which is often the most damaged and dull-looking. By removing this layer, the treatment eliminates dead cells and reveals a fresher, healthier skin surface.
Secondly, the thermal energy produced by the laser penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin. This heat stimulates the fibroblasts, which are cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that provide structural support and elasticity to the skin. By irritating the fibroblasts and promoting their activity, the laser treatment encourages the production of fresh collagen and elastin, leading to skin thickening and tightening.
From Laser Skin Resurfacing, new skin emerges without sagging and with reduced appearance of cellulite. The number of treatment sessions required may vary depending on individual needs and desired results. Typically, multiple sessions are recommended for optimal outcomes. The more sessions one applies, the more satisfying the results will be! The only "disadvantage" of this treatment is that it is not a treatment for those who leave everything for the last minute, as it is clearly not a summer treatment and can’t be done from May and onwards! It's a treatment for girls who "cook before they're hungry" and it only takes place in winter months! This treatment is best suited for individuals who plan ahead and take proactive measures for their skin's health.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water (around 2 litres/day) to help your body flush out toxins and maintain the effects of the cellulite treatments.
Follow a Healthy Diet: Eating a balanced and nutritious diet can support your body in keeping cellulite away and preserving the results of the treatments.
Post-treatment care for Body Threads or Body Hyaluronic Acid: If you have undergone treatments involving body threads or hyaluronic acid, it is advisable to avoid engaging in intense physical activities for about one week following the treatment.
After treatments with Fractional Laser or Dermapen, you should frequently apply a regenerating cream, for better skin rejuvenation , 3-4 times a day, for about 2 weeks.
After Fractional Laser or Dermapen treatments, it is crucial to avoid direct exposure to the sun or tanning beds for at least 2-3 weeks. Sun protection measures, such as wearing sunscreen and protective clothing, should be taken during this time to prevent potential complications.
In the treated areas following Fractional Laser or Dermapen treatments, it is advisable to avoid using creams and cosmetic products containing Retinol or Acids for a week. Additionally, refrain from using peeling agents or body scrubs in these areas to prevent possible irritations.
Apart from the sun and sea, Greece has another positive feature, which is the Mediterranean diet. The latter has correctly been recognized as one of the best in the world, helping to burn fat faster, speed up metabolism and maintain body weight.
While a healthy diet can support overall skin health and possibly reduce the appearance of cellulite, it's important to note that there is no magic food that can completely eliminate cellulite on its own. However, a nutritious diet can contribute to a healthy body weight and skin appearance.
Here are some dietary recommendations that may help in managing cellulite:
Lymphatic massage is often promoted as a treatment for cellulite. However, it's important to understand that there is limited scientific evidence to support its effectiveness as a standalone treatment for cellulite. Lymphatic massage, also known as lymphatic drainage, involves gentle and rhythmic pressure to stimulate the lymphatic system and improve lymphatic flow. The lymphatic system plays a role in fluid balance and toxin removal in the body. By promoting lymphatic circulation, it is believed that lymphatic massage can help reduce fluid retention and improve the appearance of cellulite.
In Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinics, you will find the advantages of Lymphatic Massage on the genuine Lipo 4Max Plus, as this device has a specific headpiece for doing body deep tissue massage, offering the most efficient deep lymphatic massage for cellulite with simultaneous skin tightening, which really works deep into the tissues and rejuvenates the skin cells. The powerful rhythmic suction which it has is adjustable at the touch of a button and increases the rate of lymphatic circulation by 80%. That way reduces fluid retention in the periphery, while at the same time the multipolar radiofrequencies of the Lipo 3Max Plus help to break down fat, but also to produce collagen .
It's worth noting that incorporating lymphatic massage as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for cellulite achieves better results. This may include a combination of lifestyle modifications (such as a healthy diet, regular exercise and hydration), skincare and professional medical treatments for cellulite.
The effectiveness of anti-cellulite creams in completely eliminating cellulite is a subject of debate. While these creams may provide some temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite, they cannot make it disappear on their own. It's important to approach the claims made by anti-cellulite creams with caution, as some marketing tactics may exaggerate their capabilities.
That being said, certain ingredients commonly found in anti-cellulite creams may have beneficial effects on the skin and its appearance. Here are some ingredients that are often included in these creams:
Caffeine: Caffeine is believed to improve blood circulation and temporarily tighten the skin. It may also help stimulate collagen production. However, the effects of caffeine in topical creams are limited and may not penetrate deeply enough to have a significant and long-lasting impact.
Plant extracts: Various plant extracts such as aloe vera, guarana, ginkgo biloba, cedar, ivy, cayenne pepper and algae are often included in anti-cellulite creams. These extracts are thought to have properties that improve skin health, promote circulation and reduce inflammation. However, their effectiveness in reducing cellulite is still under investigation.

Truth: This is certainly an opinion that has no relation to reality, as cellulite can affect anyone, regardless of their body weight. Even women who are fairly thin and exercise can develop cellulite. As we have mentioned, cellulite occurs when there is an imbalance in fat and water reserves and this results in the skin having these dimples. Clearly, overweight persons will be more prone to cellulite, as they will show an increase in fat reserves, but this does not necessarily mean that only overweight people will experience cellulite.
Truth: Liposuction is a surgical procedure used to remove the deeper layers of subcutaneous fat (and not the superficial fat under the skin) and it is not specifically designed to treat cellulite. While liposuction may improve the overall appearance of the treated area and reduce the prominence of cellulite to some extent, it is not a guaranteed solution for cellulite removal. So, many people are surprised to see that they are thinner, but still have cellulite after their liposuction surgery, because they mistakenly believed the opposite. However, liposuction is not a treatment to treat cellulite, but to remove chronically accumulated fat depositions. Cellulite is caused by the structural changes in the skin and underlying connective tissues, such as fibrous bands that pull down on the skin and fat deposits. Liposuction primarily targets fat removal and does not address these underlying structural issues that contribute to cellulite.
Truth: While a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, is beneficial for overall well-being and can contribute to the improvement of cellulite, it is important to understand that they may not be sufficient as the sole treatment for significant cellulite reduction, especially for higher grades of cellulite like grade 3 and above.
Truth: One of the reasons our patients choose our Clinics is that we always tell the truth to the consumer. Unfortunately, the female body is made in such a way that it stores fat in the subcutaneous area and especially in the area of buttocks and thighs, in order to prepare the body for the possibility of pregnancy. So no matter how many medical cellulite treatments we do, (even with a combination with diet and exercise), we will manage to improve and maybe even eliminate cellulite for a period of months (from 6 - 12 months usually). After this period we can ensure the permanence of our results, with some maintenance sessions, which should be done every year, ideally in winter months.
Water plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health and can have a positive impact on the appearance of the skin, including cellulite.
While drinking water alone may not completely eliminate cellulite, it can be a beneficial component in an overall cellulite management plan. Combining hydration with medical treatments, such as Cavitation RF, Lipolysis and Mesotherapy , can provide a more holistic approach to reducing the appearance of cellulite.
A good and essential way to improve our quality of life and our physical and mental health is to exercise. The benefits of exercising our bodies on a regular basis are many and certainly contribute to the reduction of cellulite. Especially if you choose aerobic training (fast walking or bike), you will burn fat and tone your muscles, while at the same time boosting your better blood circulation, thus laying a solid foundation in reducing cellulite to a great extent.
Exercise can be an effective component in managing cellulite and improving overall skin appearance. However, you should keep in mind that it works more effectively if you combine regular exercise with a medical treatment protocol, with which you will treat cellulite even faster and even more effectively.
You should be aware that any treatment, whether body or facial, may not be appropriate for certain conditions. The same is true with anti-cellulite treatments. The contraindications of specific treatments include:
The answer to this question depends on the type of protocol you follow and each individual needs. Indicatively, an anti-cellulite treatment can take from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the individual case and the number of areas to be treated. For example, it will take longer for a treatment that involves 3 areas of your body than a treatment that involves only 1 area.
The visibility of results from anti-cellulite treatments can vary depending on various factors, including the treatment protocol, the individual's cellulite severity and their body's response to the treatment. While some individuals may experience noticeable improvements after the first session, it's important to keep realistic expectations and understand that complete resolution of cellulite may require multiple sessions and ongoing maintenance treatments. At Derm & Plastic Surgery Clinics we know how quickly and effectively you want to get rid of cellulite. That’s why our treatment protocol, Cellustop, was awarded as the best anti-cellulite treatment, as the advantages of this specific protocol include its guaranteed results, but also the short time that these results appear, as our patients tell us.
From the very first session, the skin begins to look smoother and firmer, as localized fat has already begun to burn. As the treatment sessions progress, the skin may continue to improve in terms of texture, firmness and reduced cellulite visibility.
Anti-cellulite treatments have no age limit. From the age of 18 above, someone can start the Cellustop protocol.
According to researches , weight is an important factor that influences the appearance of cellulite. But it is not the only one and it is certainly not the main one. Besides, there are not a few cases, where even very slim and well shaped girls have cellulite, in various parts of their body. So if someone loses weight, this will positively contribute to the reduction of cellulite, but it will not make it disappear. It is also good to remember that constant fluctuations in your weight also cause disturbances in the microcirculation of the blood, slowing down the flow of lymph in the fatty tissue, which does not help the issue of cellulite.
While cellulite treatments can provide significant improvements in the appearance of cellulite, it's important to understand that cellulite is a complex condition influenced by various factors, and there is no permanent cure for it. As such, there is a chance of cellulite coming back even after successful treatment.
Here are a few factors to consider: Underlying causes, lifestyle factors, aging process
Smoking and alcohol consumption can negatively affect the appearance of cellulite.
Smoking damages the connective tissues in the skin, making it weaker and less elastic. This can contribute to the development and progression of cellulite. Additionally, smoking reduces blood flow and impairs the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the skin, which can result in a dull and unhealthy appearance.
Alcohol has a dehydrating effect on the body, which can affect the health and appearance of the skin. Dehydration can make the skin look less plump, accentuating the visibility of cellulite. Moreover, alcohol can impair blood circulation, which can negatively impact the skin's health and contribute to the appearance of cellulite.
