The cost of Brotox treatment depends on the area, the number and depth of the wrinkles and the units of the product, which are necessary for each person. The final cost of your personalised treatment will be known to you, at the end of your consultation, with our qualified Doctors, but in order to have an estimation of the starting cost for Botox for Men this is 200 euros.
Avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Mesulid, Brufen, Voltaren) and analgesics (e.g. aspirin) for at least one week before the treatment, as they increase the possibility of bleeding and therefore bruising, during the treatment.
Also avoid taking vitamins and multivitamin preparations, for at least one week before the treatment, as these are substances that increase the bleeding tendency and consequently the risk of bruising.
It would be best not to consume alcohol 24 hours before your treatment.
You can return to your activities immediately, as long as you do not touch the area, where the medicine was injected, for at least the first 4 hours.
Avoid lying down for the first 4 hours after your Brotox treatment. This will prevent the Botox from moving into the eye area and causing complications such as brow drooping.
It is good to avoid vigorous aerobic or heavy exercise or heavy lifting for the next 24 hours.
Try to avoid hot showers and excessive sun exposure for the next 2 days.
Avoid alcohol and aspirin for 1 day after your treatment.
If you experience bruising at the injection sites, you can treat them with a topical arnica cream.
Forehead wrinkles are horizontal wrinkles that form along the forehead, as a result of repeated muscle contractions, such as raising the eyebrows in moments of surprise. Men are more prone to develop forehead wrinkles, as their skin is thicker and their muscle contractions are stronger than women.
Forehead wrinkles can appear as one, two, three or more lines and can extend from one edge of the forehead to the other. Over time, these wrinkles can deepen and become permanent, if you don’t start Brotox early.
Frown wrinkles are vertical wrinkles that form between the eyebrows, as a result of frowning or expressions of anger. Frown wrinkles can also be caused by habits such as squinting or half-closing the eyes constantly. They are commonly seen on the faces of middle-aged individuals, such as coaches, who tend to frown or express anger intensely.
They start as small and thin lines, but over time they deepen and extend towards the forehead, forming the number "11". The lines can intersect with the horizontal wrinkles of the forehead and treatments such as Brotox can help to reduce the appearance of frown wrinkles and prevent them from deepening over time.
Eye wrinkles are wrinkles that form around the eyes, which are caused by repeated facial expressions, such as laughing. The skin around the eyes is much thinner compared to other parts of the face and body, which makes it more prone to wrinkles. Eye wrinkles initially appear as radial lines, at the outer corners of the eyes, resembling the "crow's feet" and over time, these wrinkles can deepen and become permanent. Treatments such as Brotox can help to reduce the appearance of eye wrinkles and prevent them from deepening in the future.
Mouth wrinkles are wrinkles that form around the mouth, as a result of repeated facial expressions such as smiling, talking, eating and smoking. They appear as brackets around the mouth from laughter, vertical fine lines at the corners of the mouth from sadness or vertical lines around the lips from smoking. Brotox can help to reduce the appearance of these wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance to the area around the mouth. Additionally, it can also help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the chin, commonly referred to as a "peau d’orange chin".
Men and women have different facial anatomy, which means that the approach to aesthetic treatments should be tailored in a different way between them. The ideal treatment plan for a man will depend on various factors, such as the extent and location of wrinkles, his skin type and his personal preferences.
A qualified Doctor should take these factors into consideration, when developing a personalised treatment plan to achieve optimal results. Additionally, it's important for the Doctor to have a thorough understanding of male anatomy to ensure that the procedure is performed safely and effectively.

Truth: Brotox injections can cause some discomfort, but the procedure is generally considered to be relatively pain-free. The needles used are very fine and the injections themselves only take a few seconds. Some people may experience slight discomfort or a stinging sensation during the procedure, but this usually fades quickly. Anaesthetic creams can be used to numb the skin before the injections and many patients find that this helps to reduce any discomfort.
After the procedure, there may be some redness or swelling at the injection sites, but this should resolve quickly. Overall, most people find the procedure to be very tolerable and well worth it for the benefits it provides.
Truth: The myth that Brotox alters facial features is a common misconception, but it is not true. Brotox is designed to target specific muscles that are responsible for dynamic wrinkles, such as expression lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the mouth and eyes. The goal of the treatment is to relax these muscles, so that they do not contract as strongly, during facial expressions, resulting in smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.
Brotox does not alter the expressiveness of the face or its features, when it is done correctly. It's important to choose a qualified practitioner who has a thorough understanding of male anatomy and the specific ageing patterns of the male face to ensure that the final result is both safe and satisfactory.
Truth: The myth that Brotox gives you a "frozen" look is a common misconception, but it is not true. Brotox is designed to relax specific facial muscles that are responsible for dynamic wrinkles, such as expression lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the mouth, and eyes. The goal of the treatment is to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while maintaining the natural look and expressiveness of the face.
When performed by a qualified practitioner, Brotox should not result in a "frozen" appearance. A qualified practitioner will use the right amount of Brotox units to achieve the desired result, taking into account the individual's age, gender, skin type and facial anatomy. The aim is to enhance the natural appearance, by reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, not to create a rigid, expressionless face.
As an injectable treatment, the Βotox can cause some discomfort, but the needles used to administer it are so fine that the discomfort is actually very mild and tolerable. On a pain scale of 1 to 10, most people rate it a "1 or 2." However, if you wish, the Doctor can numb the area 10-20 minutes before the treatment by applying an anaesthetic cream topically.
When the Brotox treatment is applied by an experienced Doctor, then it is completely safe. Only some mild and transient side effects may occur, such as pain, swelling or even bruising at the injection sites. These are transient side effects that subside after a few days and you don’t need to worry.
Muscle weakness or drooping near the injection site, are rare side effects that can sometimes happen, especially when someone exceeds with the dosage. It's important to choose a qualified practitioner, who has the training and experience to perform Brotox injections safely and effectively. A qualified practitioner will take all necessary precautions to minimise the risk of side effects and ensure that you are fully informed of any potential risks before undergoing the treatment.
Allergies: People who are allergic to any component of the Botox formulation should not receive the treatment.
Neuromuscular disorders: People with certain neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome should not receive Botox.
Infections: People with skin infections at injection sites should not receive Botox until the infection has healed.
Bleeding disorders: People with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications should avoid Botox, as it increases the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection sites.
Previous Botox reaction: People who have previously had an adverse reaction to Botox should not receive the treatment again.
It's important to discuss your medical history, current health status and any concerns with your practitioner to determine if Brotox is safe and appropriate for you.
Yes. The use of Brotox as a wrinkle prevention treatment by younger patients has been steadily increasing in recent years. The active substance of Botox limits muscle contractions, which are responsible in the long term for causing static wrinkles. Starting Brotox at a young age, for example after 30 years of age and having it regularly will weaken the muscles of the face, by training them not to contract as strongly.
A well-done Brotox treatment should result in a more refreshed and youthful appearance and it's possible that your friends may attribute this change to a period of rest or reduced stress.
However, the goal of Brotox is not to create a dramatic change in your appearance, but to smooth out wrinkles and enhance your natural features, so that you look like a younger and more rested version of yourself. If the treatment is done correctly and by a qualified practitioner, it should not produce an unnatural or "frozen" appearance.
