Botox is applied to the muscles located between the nose and the upper lip, which are responsible for pulling the upper lip. Instructions Before Gummy Smile Botox Treatment
Avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Mesulid, Brufen, Voltaren) and analgesics (e.g. aspirin) for at least one week before the treatment, as they increase the possibility of bleeding and therefore bruising, during the treatment.
Also avoid taking vitamins and multivitamin preparations, for at least one week before the treatment, as these are substances that increase the bleeding tendency and consequently the risk of bruising.
It would be best not to consume alcohol 24 hours before your treatment.
Instructions After Gummy Smile Botox Treatment
You can return to your activities immediately, as long as you do not touch the area, where the medicine was injected, for at least the first 4 hours.
Avoid lying down for the first 4 hours after treatment. This will prevent the medicine from moving into the surrounding area and causing complications.
It is best to avoid vigorous aerobic exercise for 1 day.
Try to avoid hot showers and excessive sun exposure for the next 2 days.
Avoid alcohol and aspirin for 1 day after your treatment.
