Facial mesotherapy is a treatment in which therapeutic ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, peptides and antioxidant agents are introduced under the skin, into the meso layer of the skin, called ‘dermis’. Peptides are complex molecules consisting of two or more chains of amino acids, which are naturally present in our skin and have the ability to act directly on cell receptors. Instructions before Facial Mesotherapy
Avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Mesulid, Brufen, Voltaren) and analgesics (e.g. aspirin) for at least a week before your treatment, as they increase the possibility of bleeding and therefore bruising during the treatment.
Also avoid taking vitamins and multivitamin supplements, for at least a week before treatment, as these are substances that increase the bleeding tendency and consequently the risk of bruising.
Please inform us if you have a history of allergy to any of the ingredients contained in the mesotherapeutic solutions.
It would be best not to consume alcohol 24 hours before your treatment.
Instructions after Facial Mesotherapy
It is recommended to avoid make-up and the application of cosmetic products in the area for at least 24 hours after the treatment, until the micro-openings from the channels are closed.
It is preferable to minimise – as much as possible – sun exposure in the first days after your treatment. The daily use of sunblock cream with a high protection factor is essential.
Avoid vigorous physical exercise, sauna and exposure to high temperatures for a few days.
If small bruises appear at the injection areas, apply Arnica cream topically until they subside within a few days.
Avoid swimming in a pool for the first two - three days.

So it is up to you, if you will choose health professionals for your treatments, in order to have a quality and safe treatment or if you will trust non - qualified persons and then you will pay double and triple to Doctors, for fixing their complications.
The good thing about mesotherapy is that it is a lunch time treatment and you can immediately return to your daily activities. The recovery time required is minimal, as the microbumps created by the injection points subside within the next 2-3 hours, after your treatment. It is also possible to notice mild redness and swelling from the injections or some bruising, but these are temporary and can be easily covered with make-up.
The results of mesotherapy are visible from the very next day and improve gradually in the next 2 - 4 weeks after the treatment. Dermapen mesotherapy, also called non-injectable mesotherapy, is more advantageous in the regeneration process, since it has the ability to penetrate the skin up to 1920 times per second, thus creating much more injection microholes than manual injectable mesotherapy. In manual injectable mesotherapy, it is not possible to make as many microholes as with the Dermapen device, so the regenerative capacity of Dermapen mesotherapy is higher.
When mesotherapy is applied by a qualified Doctor, with certified medical mesotherapeutic materials, then the possible side effects are minimal, as mesotherapy is a medical procedure and has been applied with absolute safety, for more than 70 years.
