The skin around the eyes is extremely thin (no more than 0.5mm thick, while on the rest of the body, the skin is on average 2mm thick) and this makes it vulnerable, resulting in breaking more easily and this is causing wrinkles and fine lines. The Nanosoft Therapy - Step by Step
Medical History - Problem Assessment
First, an evaluation is done by the Doctor, to determine the condition and your skin needs. At this stage, your own personalised treatment protocol will be created. You will be informed of the number of treatments you will need to do or any other combination treatments you will need to have, to get the maximum possible results.
Skin Preparation
At this step thorough cleaning of the skin, from any dirt and make-up is done and also antisepsis of the area. It is very important before the application of Nanosoft that the area is clean, to avoid infections, as it is an injection treatment. If you wish at this point, topical anaesthetic cream is applied under the eyes, for the treatment to be absolutely painless.
Application of Nanosoft with microinjections
Nanosoft application starts and you feel a gentle pressure in the area, which is completely reasonable and painless, at the points where the microinjections are made. Microinjections appear as microbumps, which will go away after 10 - 20 minutes to 4 hours at most
Instructions after the Nanosoft treatment
In this step, the treatment is completed and instructions are given by our medical staff, for the aftercare of your treatment. The skin is cleaned and a special regenerative cream or a special covering medical make-up is applied and you can return to your daily activities.

Instructions before Nanosoft
Avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Mesulid, Brufen, Voltaren) and analgesics (e.g. aspirin) for at least a week before the treatment, as they increase the possibility of bleeding and therefore bruising during the treatment.
Also avoid taking vitamins and multivitamin tablets, as these are substances that increase the bleeding tendency and consequently the risk of bruising.
It would be best not to consume alcohol 24 hours before your treatment.
Before your treatment, the area of your face should be clean and without make-up.
Do not perform the Nanosoft treatment 1-2 days before an important event for you, because bruising or swelling might happen at the injection areas. It is better to schedule it one week in advance.
Instructions after Nanosoft
It is best to avoid vigorous aerobic exercise for at least the first 2 days.
Try to avoid excessive sun exposure for the first 2 days.
Avoid alcohol and aspirin for 2 days after your treatment.
If you experience bruising at the injection sites, you can treat them with topical arnica cream.
Myths & Truths about Nanosoft Treatment
Myth: Nanosoft treatment cannot be done in summer months
Truth: One of the many advantages of Nanosoft treatment, is that it has no limitation, as to the seasons of its application. It can be done all year round. You have the choice to carry out this treatment, even before or after your summer holidays, with absolute safety.
Myth: Nanosoft treatment is the same as Hyaluronic Eye Filler
Truth: Nanosoft treatment may contain, among other things, Hyaluronic acid, but its viscosity is not capable of "filling" the tear-trough under the eye, as Nanosoft is not an eye filler.

Not at all and in fact many perform it, without any previous application of anaesthetic cream, in the periocular area, where the skin is thin and delicate. The treatment is completely painless, but it can also be done with preparation with anaesthetic cream for 15 minutes, so that you don't feel the slightest discomfort.
Nanosoft Eye treatment belongs to the Lunch Time Treatments that we apply in our Clinics. Its duration is short, since each appointment lasts from 15 to 20 minutes, so you won't need to modify your daily schedule, in order to have the treatment.
The good thing about the Nanosoft treatment, is that it is a lunch time treatment and you can immediately return to your daily activities. The recovery time required is minimal, as the microbumps created by the microinfusions subside within the next 1-4 hours, after your treatment. It is also possible to notice mild redness and swelling from the injections or some minor bruising, but these are temporary and can be easily covered with make-up. Moreover, the risk of bruising from this treatment is minimal, due to the use of Nanosoft's special microneedles device.
The frequency of the required sessions varies, depending on the intensity and extent of the problem. Of course, factors such as age, skin quality and the daily care the eye area receives also play an important role. In general, however, most patients need an average of 3-4 sessions to properly complete the treatment protocol, in order to get the desired result. After completing this initial number of sessions, 100% of the benefits that the Nanosoft treatment can offer are achieved.
