What is “Plasma Pen - Plexer”?
The Plasma Pen - Plexer works by ionizing the air particles, between the device’s headpiece and the epidermis, to form the plasma energy (fourth state of matter), which in turn causes the skin to sublimate.

Medical History - Skin Assessment
Initially, your face and eyelids are examined by the Doctors and you discuss with them your concerns and expectations from the treatment and at the same time the Doctor informs you about the type of treatment you will need and the number of sessions.

Skin Preparation & Marking
Application “Plasma Pen - Plexer”
The intensity of the Plexer is adjusted by the Doctor, depending on your skin type. Once all the necessary settings are done, the skin scanning begins. It is possible to feel a slight burning sensation at the time of treatment, but at an absolutely tolerable level. Depending on the extent of the area to be treated, the treatment will last from 20 to 30 minutes.
Post-treatment instructions
When the treatment is completed, special moisturizing and regenerative creams are applied, in order to eliminate the irritation that you will have. The session ends with the instructions that will be given in detail by the Doctors of our Clinics, so that you get the maximum possible results.
What you need to know about the “Plasma Pen - Plexer”
Instructions before the "Plasma Pen - Plexer"
For preparing your skin, it would be good to come 30 minutes before your appointment, in order to apply local anaesthetic cream to the treated area.
In addition, your skin should be clean and if possible you should come to your appointment with no makeup.
Instructions after the "Plasma Pen - Plexer"
Frequent use of moisturizing cream on the treated area is very important and necessary for faster healing of the skin. For this reason you should moisturize the Plexer area daily (at least four times a day) for a week.
Also, the use of regenerative cream is essential, for the best possible regeneration of the skin.
Protection from the sun is equally important and necessary. In particular on the eyelids, we recommend applying sun protection, on top of your moisturizer for 1 month
We also advise you to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun (sunbathing / solarium), for at least 2 months after your treatment.
It is recommended to avoid make-up and the application of cosmetic products to the area for at least 24 - 48 hours after the treatment.
Until your skin is fully healed and the redness is completely gone, you should avoid cosmetic products containing Retinol and Acids and any kind of Peeling or Scrub.
It is also very important to use clean sheets, pillowcases and towels after the treatment, as the already used ones might cause skin contamination due to the existing germs.
You should wash your face with a mild cleansing soap, from the very first day after the treatment, being careful not to rub your skin too much. Avoid any sponges and facial cleansing machines and dry your skin with gentle movements with a clean towel by dabbing.
Avoid drinking alcohol, doing vigorous exercise and having saunas for two to three days after your treatment, as they increase blood flow to the face and prolong redness.

Truth: Of course not, as the result you will have lasts for an average of 3-5 years and then you need maintenance treatments, to maintain the result.
Frequent Questions about Plasma Pen - Plexer
One of the most frequent questions is whether this treatment is painful. No, it does not hurt at all, as a local anaesthetic is applied a short time before the treatment is applied.
After the Plexer treatment there will be some brown marks, like little dots, at the application sites, but after about 5 days they will fall off, revealing new pink skin underneath. It is also reasonable to notice some swelling in the area, but this will last 3 to 5 days. However you can use make-up from the 3rd day after the treatment to hide the dots, in order to have your daily activities as usual.
The only thing that is expected with Lipo 3Max Plus and always is observed after the treatment is the redness from the hyperemia created during the treatment and it does not last more than an hour. This redness is easily treated with a moisturizing cream.
